This case is very weak structurally, handle twists when lifted with the gun inside. You gotta be careful not to stack any thing on top of it because its surface easily sags and pushes against the rifle inside. I think I’m gonna give it away and buy something better!

  2. When I went shopping for a gun case at my local gun shop they offered me a cheep looking case that was not lockable for $110. I was in no hurry so I went home and checked on Amazon and found all sorts of options. I chose this specific case to transport my hunting rifle with a large scope. The case has plenty of room, nice strong clips and multiple locations to lock for travel. I’m very happy with the quality and price of this gun case.

I found the Plano Pillared Single Scoped Gun Case

to be exactly what I was looking for,

A decent sturdy case for transport and storage,

I have read other reviews that said the handle was not sturdy enough, latches could be better or the case itself was cheap, I did find all 3 to be true, to a point, but for the $ you pay for it you can’t go wrong, I use this for my scoped Mossberg 500 and traveled with it numerous times never needing to readjust the scope because it got knocked around in travel, I would not suggest throwing it out of a moving vehicle or off the roof of your house, other then that I would highly recommend,

  4. I bought this as a birthday present for my husband, among a few other odds and ends he wanted, and he loves it! It’s perfect for toting his rifle to and from the hunting club, and it certainly eases my mind about the rifle in the house or in the truck with our child. Very happy with this purchase!

I bought two of these cases for a couple of my guns. Both are very cheaply constructed in comparison to another hard case I have. The hassle of sending them back isn’t worth it for me. I will use them until they are junk. Maybe in a few years they will end up in garbage can and I will continue perpetuating the American throw-away society… These cases are CHEAP! If your guns are expensive, spend the money and get something decent, not these.
